Glenstal Abbey is a Benedictine monastery of the Congregation of the Annunciation located in Murroe, County Limerick on the Wild Atlantic Way. Glenstal Abbey is easily accessible to Shannon Airport (25 mins) and the M6 Motorway from Dublin Airport.
Connemara Maths Academy Residential Summer Camp at Glenstal Abbey for boys and girls aged 11-17 includes Aviation Workshops provided by our partners Atlantic AirVenture, as well as the usual mix of team & adventure sports (Tag Rugby, Football, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Kayaking, Raft Building, Tennis, Swimming etc) and creative technologies (3D Modelling, Virtual Reality, GoPro Technology including Drones, Robotics, Film Production & Music Technology) within a maths centred curriculum. Learning through Discovery, Creativity and Adventure is the core of our educational philosophy and we believe that Aviation is a wonderful place to explore maths concepts in addition to leaning how to fly with workshops and Flight Simulators under the guidance and watchful eye of Professional Pilots and Trainers and always in the company of our highly qualified, award winning and registered teachers.
