Summer Camp at Rockwell

Dates 2019:

June 30th – July 6th (6 Nights; Ages 11-17) Arrival Time Sunday 7pm. Departure Saturday at 1pm with a presentation to parents at 12.

August 4th – 9th (5 Nights: Ages 8 – 15) Arrival Time Sunday 7pm. Departure Friday at 5.30pm with a presentation to parents at 5pm.

Fees:

June 30th – July 6th €850 

August 4th – 10th €700

Transport:

Airport Transfers for international students to and from Summer Camp Rockwell & Shannon/Dublin Airports 

Bus Transport for Irish students to and from Summer Camp Rockwell & Dublin/Galway

Students staying for two weeks get inter camp transport free between Summer Camp at Rockwell and Summer Camp at Achill.

Schedule

Sunday 7pm commences with specially designed ice breakers consisting of  highly entertaining and interactive challenges. Breakfast is at 9am with workshops and activities mixed throughout the day until 10.30pm with lunch at 1pm, dinner at 6pm and supper at 9pm. There is a presentation to parents in the Cinema on the final day (see times above).

Accommodation: Girls and Boys dorms are located in separate sections on site in one, two, three & four bed dorms.

 

Connemara Maths Academy Residential Summer Camp at Rockwell College for boys and girls aged 8-17 has the usual mix of team & adventure sports (Tag Rugby, Football, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Kayaking, Raft Building, Tennis, Swimming in indoor pool, etc) and creative technologies such as Drone Design, Virtual Reality, AI (Coding & Robotics), Film Production  & Music Technology within a maths centred curriculum.
